Requirements depend on the division you run in. Customer and insurance requirements may add to these lists.
Pneumatic Frac Sand
- DOT-ready tractor in safe, well-maintained condition
- Functioning tractor-mounted pneumatic blower
- Pneumatic dry-bulk trailer, or willingness to discuss leasing
- No cement residue in trailers used for frac sand
- Division-based certifications such as PEC, H2S and respiratory fit testing
- Current registration, annual inspection and applicable insurance coverage
Belly Dump and Hopper Bottom
- DOT-ready tractor with sound running gear
- Belly dump or hopper bottom trailer with functional bottom gates
- Secure, properly operating gate controls
- Suspension, tires and lighting meeting DOT standards
- Professionally presented, well-maintained equipment
- Current registration, annual inspection and applicable insurance coverage
